The Way I See It...

5 and a half layover in Honolulu…thank Jesus for Diet Coke and internet, even if it is as slow as dial up. 

I have already been up almost 12 hours…my hotel pillow is already calling me and I’m 90 miles away.

On the plus, because, let’s face it, I’m in HAWAII it is 80 and humid…and gorg…can’t wait to get to Maui. It feels so nice and my bones feel like they can relax and enjoy some sun on my newly painted toes.

I’m about 15 pounds away from being able to look alright in a bikini…however, I leave for Maui…Saturday. I picked up another bathing suit and paid $19.99 for a tankini top when bikini tops were only $17.99…That $2 could have gone towards some other piece of clothing my friends.

- Snow is pretty…and the powder snow is the best for throwing snowballs.

- Throwing powdered snowballs off the Space Needle isn’t going to kill anyone…just start a snowball fight.

- The EMP museum was designed by a group of people on a drug trip…just look at the outside of the building.

- Pike’s Place has to be one of my most favorite locations in the Western United States.

- Leave it to my family and we can find good Mexican food, even in Seattle.

- Snow, while pretty, tends to melt, and create ice…white coat, expensive camera and boots leads to an uneasy walking experience the majority of the day…the coat, camera and my dignity survived.

Happy Monday Friends!

- Depleted caffeine levels lead to me being very giggly, slightly crazy and as my dad terms it “punchy”

- 37 degrees feels a lot warmer than I thought…however, after standing in said weather for more than 5 minutes I started to feel it.

- Sharing a narrow, cramped, hotel room with my family leads to 3 hours of productive sleep followed by 3 hours of throwing pillows over my head and hating the world.

- No matter how you slice it, crappy hotel coffee, is crappy hotel coffee.

- Seattle at night is gorg.

- I slightly regret not bringing my laptop to upload photos.

- I love that it is January and I can wear long sleeves, pea coats, scarves and gloves…in Southern California, I’ve been in jeans and tank tops all week.

- Maybe I should reassess what I’ve learned after I’ve had a decent cup of coffee.

I had this and loved it so much!!! My dad and I used to watch this show every week while my mom was at school. 

Day 06: Makes You Smile

This man has been making me smile since I was 16. He has a way that even when I am so mad at him, he says something and I can’t help but smile. When I see his name pop up on my phone I get giggly and smile. I especially smile when I answer the door and he’s holding a cup of coffee. He definitely makes me smile.

Day 05: Something You Wore

Alright, so I did not wear this specific outfit today. HOWEVER, I thought I would include this outfit because it is one of my favorites and will be traveling with me this month.

Shirt: Cal Poly Pomona (Andrew bought it to barter from the Farm Store the obtaining of a giant pumpkin…the pumpkin has since rotted and I still have the shirt)
Pants: Skinny Fit 3 Target…a little too big now :)
Bag: Target 

Day 04: Letterbox

Not going to lie…I was confused on what I was supposed to photograph here. Hence, delaying a day on starting to post the challenge. However, I decided to post a photo of my letterbox. A roommate of mine is in grad school in Tennessee and her and I write to each other. I was so excited and picked out these cards and have used them on several occasions.
